Premium & Institutional Access Terms

These terms supplement the general Terms of Use and apply to AfroStrategy Premium and Institutional Access.

Premium access

Premium provides authorized access to designated AfroStrategy publications and protected digital editions during the applicable entitlement period.

Premium access does not transfer copyright ownership.

Account requirement

Individual Premium access is linked to an eligible AfroStrategy account.

Credentials should not be shared in a way that gives unauthorized users access.

Access period

Premium may be offered as a fixed-duration pass or another clearly identified entitlement.

The applicable period should be displayed at purchase or activation.

Protected PDFs

Protected PDFs are provided for authorized use by eligible users.

Users may not intentionally bypass technical access controls or redistribute protected source links in a way that enables unauthorized access.

Institutional Access

Institutional access may be based on:

• named users;
• approved institutional email domains;
• seat allocation;
• access period; or
• another agreed mechanism.

Institutional Administrator

An authorized Institutional Administrator may manage eligible institutional members from the AfroStrategy Account Center.

That designation does not grant WordPress backend or system-administrator privileges.

Domain recognition

Use of an approved institutional email domain may identify an account as potentially eligible.

Domain recognition alone does not grant Premium access. Approval may be required before the account becomes an institutional member.

Seat allocation

Institutions are responsible for using access within the approved number of seats or other agreed usage limits.

Access abuse

Credential sharing, automated mass downloading, systematic redistribution, attempts to bypass access controls or other material abuse may result in temporary or permanent restriction.

Expiry

Access ends when the applicable entitlement or institutional access period expires unless renewed or extended.

Existing personal accounts may remain active without the expired Premium entitlement.

Institutional proposals

Institutional pricing, duration, seats, renewal, payment terms and special technical requirements may be governed by a quotation, invoice, order, contract or other written agreement.

Where a written institutional agreement conflicts with this general page, the specific agreement governs the institutional arrangement.
