Accessibility Statement

AfroStrategy is committed to making its research and digital services accessible to as many users as reasonably possible.

We aim to improve accessibility across navigation, publications, search, forms, tables, figures, account interfaces, Premium access, Institutional Access and mobile devices.

Our development approach seeks alignment with WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably achievable.

Current measures

AfroStrategy includes or is developing:

• keyboard navigation;
• visible focus states;
• skip navigation;
• semantic heading structures;
• accessible form labels and validation;
• keyboard-accessible data tables;
• reduced-motion support;
• accessible dialogs;
• responsive layouts;
• human-authored alternative text workflows; and
• mobile-friendly reading experiences.

PDFs

New digital publications should be prepared with accessibility in mind where practicable.

Older or externally supplied PDFs may contain limitations that cannot immediately be corrected.

Third-party content

Embedded video, maps, social-media content, payment interfaces or other external services may not meet the same accessibility standard as AfroStrategy-controlled pages.

Known limitations

Some legacy publications migrated from earlier platforms, older images, historical PDFs and third-party embeds may not fully meet the standard applied to newer AfroStrategy content.

We intend to improve high-value legacy material progressively where practicable.
